The Newnan-Coweta History Center is located near the downtown Newnan Square along with the McRitchie-Hollis Museum. This museum tells the story of Newnan and Coweta County. Housed in a fine Georgian style home built in 1937 by prosperous mill owners, our collection was created by public donation. Described as a “a must-see and do” by Explore Newnan Coweta, they are the crown jewel of showcasing Newnan-Coweta’s rich history.
