Well, my Country Fried Friends, most of the year has gone by and we have two months left in 2021. Are you ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas/Winter Holiday?
It’s been an interesting year for sure. I think most of us thought that COVID would be long gone by now and the economy picking up steam. Some industries are doing extremely well due to inflation and high demand. Many others are suffering because of that same inflation combined with supply chain issues and labor shortages. I know many of our non-profit friends are eager to get back to in-person events that promote community engagement. Leading a business is not for the faint of heart.
Here at Country Fried Creative, we consider it an honor to work alongside you. We Love providing high-quality, cost-effective marketing solutions that promote your business or organization.
Every year we have an overall strategy that helps guide our efforts in serving you. This year our strategy is Pivot & Grow, which we mentioned in our September 2021 newsletter about Strategy & Tactics. We recognized late last year that we needed to pivot our business in certain areas to keep ahead of business changes. Even though the year has taken some unexpected turns, our strategy is still valid and we’re not done yet!
One of the challenges of marketing is reaching your target audience across an ever-expanding array of marketing channels. Not too long ago, a basic broadcast media campaign (TV, radio), phonebook advertisement (remember those?), basic website (which were new at the time), signage, and flyers were all you really needed to promote your product, service, or non-profit. With the advent of search engines and social media, the marketing landscape changed and grew.
In order to be relevant and reachable, an organization must have a presence where its target market exists.
That can be extra challenging if your organization serves clients with a wide age range. Older clients tend to gravitate to more traditional forms of media – print, broadcast, some online. Middle-aged clients (and that describes me) are comfortable with traditional media as well as some forms of newer media like websites and Facebook. Younger clients (which describe most of our staff) are most comfortable with the newest forms of media – TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube. Many of you have hired us to help you keep up with all of that, it’s more than one person can manage.
Despite the age and demographic stratification of your target market, there is one form of media that everyone watches – VIDEO.
We’ve created a video highlighting what is changing and how we’re going to be pivoting and growing with our social media clients like you in the near future. What does this mean for our social media clients like you? Check out our latest video to find out!
Yes, we all love video. Moving pictures have always fascinated people and continue to do so in new and creative ways to this day.
- Traditional cinema movies are making a comeback and we’re fortunate to have a thriving movie industry here in Fayette County.
- Streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+ have helped us get through the “shelter in place” during COVID and continue to entertain us most weekday evenings and weekends.
- Entertaining and educational videos on YouTube continue to grow in popularity.
- Short-form video has captivated young and old alike with catchy tunes and addictive images that are pulling people back to social media
- There’s even a place for traditional TV/Cable – how many of you stayed up late to watch the Braves win the World Series? Go Braves!
We started Country Fried Creative as a web design company. As the market changed, we changed with it by growing into a full-service marketing agency offering branding, logo design, search engine marketing, social media management, digital advertising, print design, email management, lead generation, and (of course) web design/support. It’s time to Pivot and Grow in one more area before this year is over. Learn more about us by clicking here.
Video content has been on the rise for years, and nowadays cannot be ignored as an integral part of a modern marketing plan Stay tuned, we have some big announcements coming soon!
